What types of products do you distribute?

S.E.T.E.M supports professionals in the distribution of electromechanical parts.

Our catalogue covers equipment from major market manufacturers: electric motors, fans, extraction turrets, mechanical ventilation solutions, industrial pumps, valves, solenoid valves.

We are also able to source any industrial supply.

Are your products only for professionals?

S.E.T.E.M's offering is accessible to everyone. Although we have historically supported professionals, HVAC installers, engineering firms and public authorities, our solutions are also available to individuals.

Do you offer equivalents or replacement products?

Absolutely. We prioritise replacing equipment with references identical to those already installed.

When these references are no longer manufactured or available, our technical expertise allows us to identify an equivalent alternative solution. Our technicians then analyse all your technical constraints (power, flow rate, dimensions, operating environment) to offer you a reliable and sustainable solution, whilst minimising downtime of your industrial installations.

Are the listed products in stock?

We hold significant stock of our major references in our warehouses to guarantee shipment within 24h/48h.

For specific equipment or stock shortages, we activate our specialised sourcing service. Thanks to our extensive network of global partners and manufacturers, we carry out a personalised search to provide you with the exact part or a high-performing technical equivalent as quickly as possible.

Whether the product is in stock or requires a specific search, supply lead times are systematically indicated on your quote, based on factory lead times. Our priority is to minimise the downtime of your installations by finding critical components for you, even the rarest ones.

How do I get a quote?

To obtain personalised pricing, you can contact us through two channels: via our online contact form or by email at commercial@setem.fr.

We are committed to providing you with industrial equipment quotes as quickly as possible.

How are prices set?

Our prices are based on a personalised quote, determined according to your business activity code, valid for a period of 1 month.

This approach allows us to offer you the best price based on market conditions and availability. After this 30-day period, an update may be necessary depending on fluctuations in our suppliers' raw material costs.

Prices are net, excluding taxes, and for cash payment, unless otherwise expressly agreed.

What payment methods are accepted?

To ensure maximum security and enable immediate processing of your orders, S.E.T.E.M has chosen bank transfer as the sole payment method.

This payment method allows us to validate your order in real time and trigger the shipment of your industrial equipment without the delays associated with cheques or traditional banking processes.

ORDERS & DELIVERY

What are the delivery times?

For any product in stock, any order validated before 1:00 PM is shipped the same day, allowing delivery within 24h to 48h in mainland France (business days).

For any out-of-stock product, the estimated lead time is indicated on your initial quote.

How do I track my delivery?

As soon as goods are shipped from our warehouse, you receive a shipping notification including the carrier tracking number as well as inspection photos taken before and after packaging.

We work with recognised logistics partners, such as FEDEX-TNT, GEODIS and La Poste and its partners, selected according to parcel weight and destination, to guarantee full traceability from dispatch to reception at your site.

RETURNS & WARRANTY

What must be checked upon receiving the parcel?

Once the goods are handed over to the carrier, responsibility for the equipment is transferred to the buyer. To ensure coverage of any potential dispute, you must carefully follow these verification steps:

1. Immediate inspection in the presence of the driver

Do not sign the transport document before checking:

  • Packaging integrity: is the box or pallet torn, wet or re-taped?
  • Equipment conformity: does the number of packages match the delivery note? Is the equipment intact?

2. Writing "specific reservations"

If you notice any damage, you must imperatively note it on the receipt and refuse the goods.

Warning: The mention "subject to unpacking" has no legal value. Your reservations must be specific (e.g.: "Ventilation casing dented", "Turbine blade bent", "Missing 1 package out of 3").

3. Refusal and notification within 48 hours

In case of unusable equipment, refuse the delivery. In all cases (refusal or acceptance with damage), you must:

  • Take photos of the parcel and damage.
  • Confirm your reservations in writing to the carrier within 48 hours.
  • Immediately inform S.E.T.E.M customer service with supporting documents (photos, order number, delivery slip).

4. Why is this mandatory?

In accordance with Article L.133-3 of the French Commercial Code, failure to comply with these formalities extinguishes all recourse against the carrier and S.E.T.E.M. Without this refusal, we will be unable to proceed with the re-shipment of new equipment.
